# 10.3. Card Upgrade

The Card Upgrade system allows players to combine surplus cards into a higher tier with unique cosmetic upgrades. Each Upgrade features a unique visual effect, with some upgrades being rarer than others. A card upgraded through multiple tiers with the rarest effect will be extremely hard to come by and sought after.

Each Tier upgrade will require numerous copies of the same card from a tier below. This will generate a consistent and high demand even for the upgraded cards with more common effects.
