# 6. COMMANDERS

Commanders are the in-game avatars of the players of Storm Warfare. With each match, Commanders earn ranks and rewards, acquire rare medals, and mark their name as a legend in the history of Warfare.

\
Upon creating a deck, players are first asked to choose a Commander. A Player can have up to 25 basic Commanders. There are no limits on Premium Commanders that a player can own.\
\
Each Commander is assigned to one of Storm Warfare factions: Germany, Soviet Union, United States, Japan, and United Kingdom. Commanders cannot use cards outside their faction.
