# 9.1.4. Upgrading & Trading Cards

It will be possible to upgrade cards when certain conditions are met. These upgrades are only visual and do not change the card's stats or the ability tied to it.

The collection screen will offer a trade-in option where players can trade in certain cards for rarer versions. Upgrading a card to a rarer level will cost the destruction of the same cards as well as in-game currency. *(The required amount of currency and cards will be revealed later on.)*
